September 2011 at the Lake

Again, it has been awhile since I last posted but here is a few pictures from our trip out to my dad's lake cabin last September.  As you can see from the clothing, it was a little chilly but still a lot of fun!

Our Little Ballerina

At the end of last summer we were able to get a great deal on a 4 week dance class.  Little L absolutely LOVED being a ballerina!  Here are some pictures of her as a cute little dancer!

General MIlls ITQ Picnic 2011

Every year at work they have our annual picnic and it is a highlight of our summer!

Petting Zoo

Little L's first pony ride!

Cheerio Dig is always a favorite!  They bring in TONS of Cheerios and then hide toys inside and the kids get to dig through it like a sandbox and keep what they find!

Love how full her arms are in this shot!

My girlfriend from work has twin girls a year older than Little L so it is always fun to hang out with them for a while!

The bag held all of her "treasures" and she wouldn't let it out of her site!  She even slept with a few of the toys!

Dora Does Ballet at the MOA

At the end of last summer Dora was at the MOA for her new ballerina movie so we went down to check it out.  Of course Little L wanted to be a ballerina too so we dressed up for the occasion!  :)  They had a dance instructor come and and so the pictures below are mostly of Little L watching the other girls  dance and she did a little of her own here and there!

Como Zoo

A trip to como zoo!  We love going to the zoo to see the animals!  This was a really fun day for us and Little L had a blast watching the seal show for the first time too!

Summer Sprinkler Fun!

I know I haven't posted in FOREVER on here but I thought I would try to go back and just post a bunch of stuff that I had already uploaded.  Since these all happened so long ago I won't post a bunch of words but I will let the words speak for themselves!

Here is some sprinkler fun in our backyard last June!

Women of Faith Conference

Good morning all! Guess what I get to do today!  That's right...I'm attending the Women of Faith Conference here in St. Paul!
I was blessed to recieve 2 free tickets from Tommy Nelson's blogging site Book Sneeze!  They just asked that I post about this before I go and after I go.  You can see that I procrastinated a bit and I'm just getting this up literally right before I go but I've got to admit I'm really excited!

After I found out I had recieved the tickets I began to pray about who I should bring with me (since they were so kind enough to give me tickets for 2 people).  I had a couple of different people in mind but couldn't really decide on which was the right person.  Then about a day later, a girlfriend from work posted on my fb page asking me if I was planning on going to the Women of Faith conference and I knew then and there that she was the one I was going to bring with me!  I'm super excited to see what God has in store for both of us!

It will be 2 full days (today and tomorrow) of teaching and music.  Both Mary Mary and Natalie Grant will be preforming and I love both of them!  :)  I'm looking forward to posting about all the amazing stuff that we see and learn next week!

If you live in MN and are bummed that you missed this one...don't worry, they'll be back next year!  And if you don't live in MN be sure to check out what dates are coming to a town near you.  I'm sure you won't regret it!
